A red wine, ruby red and purple hues. An interesting blend of organic and sustainably grown Alicante Bouschet & Syrah. On the nose black and red fruit of black currant, blackberry, blueberry and raspberry. Elegant attack on black fruit, mocha and toasted in the middle, long and slightly spicy pleasant aftertaste
The initials EA stand for Eugenio de Almeida, the founder of the winery Cartuxa.

The perfect wine with red (grilled) meat and roast beef
Grapes: Alicante Bouchet, Syrah
When the grapes reach the right ripeness point, they are carefully harvested and taken to the winery, where they are fermented in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 24 to 27ºC. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 6 months in French oak barrels. Before bottling, the wine was lightly filtered.
