is a unique and wood free blend of the main grape varieties of Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo. It's a wine of authentic and intense flavor that demonstrates not needing a barrel to be sophisticated. However, it is not the only sense palate in a large glass of wine that interests us, it is also its ruby color and its youthful aroma, lush and mineral, a magnificent balance between the fruit, the dense structure and the alcohol. The texture is so juicy and easy drinking that you imagine yourself in the vineyard itself.

Food Pairing
Delicious with lasagna, pizza, spicy and roasted meat dishes, savory vegetable soups, burgers, roasted vegetables, strong fragrant spices such as cinnamon, fennel, anise, cumin and rosemary. Great with fresh white mould cheese, crispy radishes with a spicy dip and of course with grilled pink lamb or pigeon

Grapes selection at the entrance of the cellar. Total stripping with
cold premaceration and fermentation (8ºC) in stainless-steel tanks for 4 days (24-26 °C). Three “delastages” a day to extract soft and structuring tanins and to keep the black and blue fruity aromas. Ageing in stainless-steel vats of 25000L.

This subtle, stylish wine is ripe with juicy black fruits and generous tannins. The wine has structure and obvious potential. This Douro estate has confirmed its reputation with this fine wine. Drink from 2025.
