Seductive, soft smoke flavour, with hints of young fresh fruit nicely balanced, especially if left in the air for 15 minutes. It develops nicely in the glass, is smoked softer, more refined. Delicious!

Colheita is Portuguese for harvest year and thus indicates a port from a certain good year of harvest. The wine must have matured for at least seven years in a wooden barrel and is then tawny in color and ready to be drunk. The harvest year and the year of bottling are mentioned on the bottle.

Food pairing

Can be drunk as a digestive with coffee and chocolate. tasty with fruit tarts, crème brûlée, ripe and blue cheeses and a good cup of coffee with a cigar.
