The slogans of Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo are Balance, harmony and authenticity. The Port is on the dry side. Deep ruby color. Complex, notes of ripe black fruits. In the mouth reveals a huge volume, strong structure, intensity and deepness. A production of only 2.700 bottles

Manual grapes selections at the entrance to the cellar. Fermented in mechanic tanks for 2 days, with temperature control. Intense pumping over and maceration for a further 2 days and fortification by 19% with iced grape spirit (77% vol.), matured 2 years in 550lts oak barrels

Store & Serve

Store in a dark, cool place (12º to 14ºC). The bottles must lie with the label facing up. Drinking is possible until 2040. Must be served at a temperature of 16-18ºC. Uncork and decant 2 hours before drinking. Drink within 3 days after opening
