Relatively light in color, subtle amber. Great quality. Incredibly soft and smooth on the palate. Complex and fresh aromas of nuts combined with honey and figs, orange peel, liquorice, nougat and red berries. Shows itself with fresh fruit, is nevertheless light and not as heavy as many other Tawny-Ports. Despite its somewhat lighter character, it has an incredibly rich, long finish.

Food pairing

This port is delicious as an aperitif, with chocolate, desserts, nuts and delicious with old cheese.

Mix of different wines with an average age of 10 years. Matured in very old 600 liter oak barrels
