LUTRA wines stand out for their lightness and softness. It has an intense aroma overflowing with fruit and lively notes of Leziria's (the fertile marshland on the Tagus) agricultural crops in symbiosis with the vineyards. Round and persistent mouth, recalling the marachas mission of the Tejo.

LUTRA (European Otter) is a globally endangered species. Portugal is one of the few countries where LUTRA still finds the conditions to live without worries, with the Tagus River being the most common habitat. More than a wine, LUTRA is a tribute from Quinta da Alorna and a reminder of the preservation of the River Tagus (Rio Tejo) which has an important influence on our wines.

Grapes : -

Specifically selected grapes from the TEJO wine region, mostly from Quinta da Alorna but also from other vineyards planted by the banks of the Tejo river. After destalking

and soft pressing, the grapes are driven stainless steel vats, where the alcoholic fermentation begins. With the objective of maintaining the true quality of the grapes,

the wine is filtered and bottled.
