Sharish Laurinius Gin is a Limited Edition and zen cask-aged variant of Sharish Gin from Portugal. This gin is aged for 365 days in barrels of Aguardente Vínica da Lourinhã, one of only 3 defined regions of wine brandy in the world (such as Cognac and Armagnac). This gin is made from traditional Portuguese ingredients such as juniper berries, lemon verbena, orange and lemon zest from Alentejo, coriander seeds, cloves, vanilla, cinnamon, western rock pear and bay leaf. In the nose you will recognize subtle aromas of creamy lemon and in the mouth you can taste the spicy notes of basil and a hint of vanilla blossom.

The idea for the 1st edition came during a visit by Paulo Marcelino and João Brito, responsible for the Louriana XO Brandy, to the Sharish Gin Distillery. The idea was promptly accepted by António Cuco and it was agreed that it would be a version of the original Sharish Gin, replacing the Bravo de Esmolfe apple with the pear, Pêra Rocha do Oeste and an additional spice, the Loureiro apple. leaf, would be added, in honor of Lourinhã.
