This Herdade Grande has a deep ruby red color and features aromas of black cherries, cassis and blue berry jelly, as well as some spiciness, earth and tobacco. In the mouth subtle notes of caramel. This red wine is distinguished by its round and balanced tannins and long finish

Food pairing

Ideal for soups, spiced meat dishes, stew & lamb, cheeses and sausages. Also suitable for grilled cod in the oven.

Grapes: Alicante Bouschet, Aragonês, Touriga Nacional & Trincadeira

The fermentation took place in small stainless steel vessels with temperature control to preserve all aromatic elegance. Ripens afterwards for 9 months in American and French oak barrels.
